How will my gift make a difference?

What is a capital campaign?

A capital campaign is a strategic initiative undertaken by organizations, including churches, to raise funds for specific projects or goals. These campaigns are typically time-limited and aim to secure large donations to support initiatives such as building renovations, new facilities, or major community outreach programs. The goal is to engage the community and encourage generous giving to achieve a common vision.

Why did we approve a loan of up to $8 million?

Our goal is to raise this amount through sacrificial giving over the next 40 months, so that we can move forward debt-free or with minimal long-term debt. However, we may utilize this approved short-term financing to initiate projects sooner. The goal is to steward momentum wisely while trusting God to provide through the generosity of our church family.

When will the projects be completed?

We plan to complete most projects—renovations, the Oak Ridge launch, and technology upgrades within the first 18–24 months of the campaign. This allows us to focus the final stretch of Catalyst on church planting and long-term mission investment. Our goal is to address the facility and campus needs upfront, allowing momentum to build toward sending people out with the gospel across our region.

Is my regular giving still needed?

Absolutely. The Catalyst Campaign is above and beyond your regular giving. Our ongoing ministry, weekend services, care ministry, groups, outreach,
and all other activities, depends on regular tithes and offerings. Catalyst is focused on future growth and Gospel expansion.

What if I can’t give a large amount?

That’s okay. Every gift matters. The goal is participation, not pressure. Whether your gift is large or small, when it’s given with faith and intentionality, it becomes part of the movement. This campaign will only succeed if we all bring what we have and trust Jesus with it.

Can I adjust my commitment if my situation changes?

Yes. Life can change, and we understand that. Your commitment is a statement of intent, not a legal contract. If you need to adjust your commitment for any reason, you can reach out to us at any time.

What if I cannot give at this time?

If you are unable to contribute financially at this time, there are still many ways to support the capital campaign. You can help by spreading the word about the campaign, volunteering your time for related events, or praying for its success. Every effort counts, and your involvement in any capacity is valued and appreciated.

Can I give stocks, property, or other assets?

Yes. Gifts of stock, real estate, or other appreciated assets can often provide greater tax benefits and increase your impact. If you’re considering a gift
